Riverside Jazzin vuosikokous pidetään keskiviikkona 25.3.2020 klo 19 alkaen osoitteessa Vapaudenkatu 31/Petri Rankka. Kokouksessa käsitellään sääntöjen määräämät asiat, kuten toimintakertomus ja tilinpäätös vuodelta 2019 sekä toimintasuunnitelma ja talousarvio kuluvalle vuodelle. Tarkoituksena on myös keskustella vapaasti yhdistyksen toiminnasta. Tule siis paikalle päättämään ja ideoimaan.

Riverside Jazzin hallitus
Kaksi kitaraa. Neljä kättä. Yksi mieli, yksi yhtenäinen sointi. Jazzkitaristit Janne Mikkonen ja Pekka Sirola esittävät sylillisen bebopiin ja post-bopiin pohjautuvaa jazzmusiikkia. Duon soitossa yhdistyvät eteerinen herkkyys, harmoninen ennakkoluulottomuus, kuulas sointi sekä pohjoisen luonnon avaruus. Tulkinnassa on kuultavissa myös dynaamisia kaikuja jazzin perinteistä. Duon ohjelmisto koostuu Janne Mikkosen ja Pekka Sirolan omista sävellyksistä sekä tarkoin valituista jazzstandardeista.
